Putting the Pitts on a diet and have decided to remove the smoke system. It is a Phoenix Metal Products complete system that fits below the main tank and is removable. It holds 5 gallons and is professionally made. This thing sold new for well over $1200. I'm asking $700 for the complete system. I will include shipping to the lower 48 for that price as well.

Hi Eric
Has the system been used? What is included?
I am based in Australia, would it be a problem to ship out here or maybe to Canada where my 1XS is being built?

Andrew- It has been used but the airplane only has 60 hours total time so total smoke on time was likely just a few minutes. It (the plane) was originally built in 2006 so none of it is very old. Everything looks new.I will include the tank, pump, and plumbing. It should be a pretty easy bolt on deal.

As for shipping to Canada- I'll be happy to put up to $50 towards shipping. I assume it is going to Raven- I know those guys and have no problem working with them on getting it there.

Eric,

Did you sell your smoke system? What kind of pump does it have? I can't find any info on the web regarding Phoenix Metal Products smoke systems, do you have a link or more info?

Thanks,

Grant

Grant- I still have it but may end up keeping it. I have been able to get the weight down to a much more acceptable level and might just leave it there in case my airshow dreams ever match my flying abilities (not likely)

Anyway- the pump is the same on Skip Stewart uses. The name escapes me but I think it is an agricultural application. They are not expensive ($100 or so) Google Skip Stewart Smoke Pump. It's on the IAC exploder.
