I’ve made a deal on an S2E needing restoration. I plan to keep the parallel valve Io-360, stick a lighter sump, on it, pump it up a bit.
I’d like to lean the seats back a bit, and put a different landing gear on it. The Wolf gear is my preference but I’m not sure it will work on the A/E model.
It has symmetrical ailerons. Thinking about super stinker ailerons, but I don’t know enough to know if that is worth the effort.
Any input/ideas are welcome. How would you improve an S2?
