Hello! New here and looking for some advice as I am starting on an SA100 project. I recently acquired some parts from a previously-started SA100, and I'm working from the 1958 drawings purchased from ACS.

The Cabene struts have been fabricated differently than the plans; these cabenes have bushings welded in, with the upper wings using two plates to form an attach bracket. I'm wondering if this is from a revised set of drawings, or a home-engineered design of the original builder's? Should I be wary of this particular bracket design?
