• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Wes convinced me that the Security 250's are a poor choice. At 210# and 70 years old he suggested that if used, I would be hitting he ground like a sack of coal thrown off a train....or something like that. They are a poor fit in the AD anyway, I need a seat chute.

That said I guess I would consider selling them. Or maybe keep one as a spare.(or as Wes suggested, use for a plane cover)

If you are younger and lighter they may be an option? I think the glider guys still use them?

Last packed about year ago. $350 ea. $650 for both. I will pay shipping.

If one or both fail repack I will refund purchase price if you pay return shipping.

Crap shoot but the best I can do

(return packed/same condition as received. My rigger moved away and I don't have a local rigger or I'd have them inspected)

PM or 540 931 4763

If Wes or other rigger want to comment feel free.

Jack
