• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hello! I am traveling across the country with my small documentary team. We are looking for a Biplane that would be willing to take our camera man up in the air for a short tour in the Utah area on Wednesday, 4/17. He would be filming with a small camcorder. We would be able to pay a small fee for this.

We're driving from Cheyenne to Los Angeles, so any other pilots along that route please feel free to respond as well.

Would love to hear from anyone who is available and interested at their earliest convenience!

Hi Corbett,

Try this as an option. They have a Pitts they use for unusual attitude instruction. I'm sure you could charter a sight seeing flight with a camera.

Anyone know of anything that exists in the southern part of the state that could fly over the canyons? Might be a bit of a tall order but let me know!

What type of documentary are you producing? Are you focusing on scenery? Are you looking for open cockpit for clear frame camera work or are you wanting to get wings, wires and struts in the frame?

For Southern Utah, check in with Moab, St George, Cedar City, Kanab. I don't have any connections or knowledge of what is around there biplane related. Just asking gets you answers....
