• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Excellent propeller for a 160Hp Lycoming and a Pitts/ Acrosport etc. Propeller was purchased new in 2003 and I have the 8130-3 from purchase. In July of 2014 at 70 hours total time I had the propeller inspected and painted by H&H Propeller and the balance checked (prop was polished when I got the airplane) Dimensionally the propeller checks as new.

I have flown it 30 hours on my Pitts S1-C doing sportsman level aerobatics. The propeller is perfect for a 160hp Pitts. I decided to go with a Catto due to the thin flange crank on my engine and my desire to start doing snaps.

New, these propellers are over $3500.00. I am asking $1600 plus shipping for this propeller, propeller bolts kit (7/16), and spinner. Having just been yellow tagged by a FAA Approved Repair Station this propeller can also be used on a certified aircraft. I will include original 8130 and recent yellow tag.

Email or call if interested.
