So during our conditional inspection, we found out that the Io-360 needed an overhaul. At the end of the day, the engine needed to look better than I do. Here are some photos from the field overhaul we did. We checked the accessories also (fuel pump,. injection, etc) and they were very new.
Lesson Learned: Low time doesn't mean a healthy engine. Also, at some point, someone had mashed the halves of the engine together while not using a real gasket....Ugh!
