• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Pair of lower wings for Skybolt. Picked these up with a package of parts. Yes, I'm a pack rat. But I need to make room in the shop and I think my appetite for putting another one of these together is minimal at this point in my life.

Looks like they are from older plans since pushrod is one piece (no walking beam), and hardware is external. You can see one of the wings has some aluminum LE and no TE, the other has TE but no LE. Honestly I'd put the ply on the LE, though, makes a much stronger wing. Ailerons, hinges, and hardware appear to all be there.

Solid (not routed, stay away from those) spars. Wood looks like it's in excellent shape. Drag/anti-drag wires should be disassembled and cleaned/painted or replaced with stainless.

$1100 + you arrange/pay for shipping. I have a container that will hold them for truck shipping, but I would need $250 additional to pack them in it securely. Best plan is to pick them up yourself.
