• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I started building this Skybolt 8 years ago, but life got in the way and haven't worked on in since I bought a flying plane 7 1/2 years ago. Im moving in a couple months so Im cleaning out the hangar. For sale are:

1. Set of Skybolt D plans

2. Fuselage tack welded together, 1/2 of it is finish welded. I never put any protectant on the tubing when I quit working on it, but its been in a hangar in the desert, so corrosion is minimal. I understand this is probably worthless, but I thought I'd try to get rid of it instead of send it for scrap.

3. Pre cut tail rib kit from Steen aero:

4. Assorted steel tubing from Aircraft spruce (probably $500 or so worth of tubing)

Im asking $200 Or best offer for everything. Im Located in Southern CA near Edwards AFB
