Gents,

I am tackling the last thing on my Skybolt to be painted....the one piece upper wing of 24 feet. To move it around usually takes at least three people, so flipping it over isnt a realistic option, or at least one I want to avoid. I am thinking of fixture that will hold the wing vertically, nose up, by means of 4 stands, paired across from one another at the I-Strut through hole. A rod would pass through the wing spar there to provide the support. I am comfortable painting on the vertical. I realize that hoops are the best thing going, but I want to see if anyone has approached a fixture for the upper wing differently.
Thanks in advance.
Dave
