In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Mr Rose what info would you need to change the dimensions on your Pitts rigging boards to use them on my Smith. I purchased her with the wings off so will be putting her back together this spring and think your boards will help get her square. I have a set of plans and should be able to give what you need. I can come up with the distances front to back but beyond that I am lost. Maybe what I am asking is not an easy task with out a set of plans in your hands, if so not a problem. I will still make a set just will have to engineer from the beginning. But maybe there is a simple way to maybe make the set you have adjustable and there for usable for a lot of different wings. I am thinking vertical post location would just be different hole spacing, it is the length of the vertical posts that are intimidating. Also what about a flat bottom airfoil such as my Smith? Anyway thanks for any help I get here.
