Hi all,

We (the builder and I are having a bit of a problem with the smoke tank in the 12.

Originally it had the Holley Blue pump in, which didn't give enough smoke. So it was upgraded to a larger capacity pump (not sure of the type). Which does give the required smoke, but after a few uses it was discovered that the tank had "imploded"! (the vent line was unobstructed).

This was replaced and now the tank has blown out!

It has a 1/4" vent line, and what we know is that the tank is full, either filling or pumping, that the 1/4" line is not suitable.

The tank is going to be replaced with a 1/2" line, so now the problem is when the vent is in the slipstream we don't want it siphoning or pressurizing the tank (depending on the setup).

Has anyone else had the same problem? and if so how did you position the tank vent in the airflow?

Cheers
