Hello,
I just purchased a Pitts S1S project and am trying to learn about this plane. I understand it has Sparcraft Wings, but I don’t know which generation they are. I believe the plane was completed in 1975. It has 200 hrs on it and has been stored with the wings off in a dry shop for the past 30 years. Can you help me identify which generation wings I have? And also tell me any certain areas of that generation wing to play close attention to during inspections? Was there known weak areas? I am new to Pitts and trying to learn and be safe as possible. See attached pictures. Let me know if you need more pictures. Thank you in advance for your help on this. Thank you, Bill
