• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hi All. I am a previous owner of N33RK. A Starduster 100 single seat. I have traced it’s where abouts to Franklin Wisconsin. Can anyone help me find the current owner. I’d like to find out how she’s doing. Maybe even get her back. Please help if you can.

The plans set came from Myron P Glant. His was the plane that inspired me so many years ago. I contacted him and he sold me the plans set. I held them for years and then I found my own Starduster 1.

She was in rough shape with weeds growing up through the floor of the cockpit and the tail twisted as to be unrecognizable. Still, she was the most beautiful plane I had ever seen.

I fixed all of the damage and purchased an 0290 off another SA 100. That engine turned out to have a crack in the crank.

My son needed money to go to A&P school. I was so depressed at finding the cracked crankshaft I sold my dream airplane to get the money to send him to A&P school. He is now a brilliant A&P mechanic that flies around the world maintaining a 747 long body.

My youngest son became a loadmaster on a C-17.

I’m retired now. I can’t say I made a mistake but I do want just one more chance. Is there anyone out there that can understand and help? Thx. Mike
