• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $29.95/year to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Started cleaning out my shed, unpacking and organising after an interstate move.

Have some unneeded bits for sale, open to offers. Will post more as I make discovers.

Today I have a set of unopened louvers from Aviat, in the Piper packaging.

Exhaust to suit 540, smoke injectors installed. Removed from Eagle I.

2 altimeters removed from the Skybolt when imported, needed replacing to Australianise . 1 is a Kollsman, up to 50,000 feet - looks like an antique. Was working fine when removed.

The other is a United, stamped 1976, up to 20,000 feet.

All offers considered. Still have the Raven Induction available.

Here we go. Not the greatest photo, both sides have the Piper sticker, sealed in plastic. The tape is the Aviat part number.

I found some on the net for 35.00 each. If you want to sell them for that I will take them otherwise I will buy them from the other source. They are not Piper Louvers just another brand made out of 5052 aluminum. Don't mean to take advantage of you.

Thankyou for the offer but I will have to decline. I'm sure I will find a use for them at some point in the future.
