Hey All,

I am looking to change the tailwheel rigging on my time-building machine (1962 Piper Colt with TW conversion). It has a Scott cast-metal tailwheel control horn with old, weaktension springs. I want to change to a new set of compression springs, but I can't find any hardware to connect the spring to the control horn. The small steel clips that came with the springs won't fit through the holes in the control horn, since the control horn is about 3/8" thick.

What kind of hardware have people used to make this connection?

Thanks in Advance,

Ed

BTW, hey Brent, the Colt is flying really nice. I'm having a blast with it. Hope your rib-building is coming along well.
