• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

The discussion on how times have changed and the high price of aircraft prompted me to get some more room in the hanger I share.

My friend has a bunch of taylorcraft to sell. 3 are currently registered. This is a hanger full of parts, data tags, log books, frames, wings, and lots of other parts. He has 2 65 hp engines, one taper shaft, one flange. One is a bc12-d which is 85hp, 1946. No engine but he knows where there is one. One is a 1941 model. All of these are just frames, no fabric. He has extra frames, extra wings, lots of parts. He wants $10,000 for it all. You need to talk to him and buy these so I get one months hanger rent for a commission. But don't buy the Seabee or the old bell heli or I will have to find new digs.

PM me and I will give you his phone number. Located in Anacortes Wa. I know that is a long ways from Peoria but it is worth it.
