The newest single seat Pitts Model 12 has flown! The BEAST made it's first flight on March 23, 2009 with Carl Pascarell in command. Over the next 3 days, Carl completed the FAA required test flights and test flight hours. March 25, 2009, Bryan Jensen, the owner of the BEAST made 2 flights and was totally blown away by the performance. Both Carl and Bryan have tons of time in high performance acro airplanes and report the BEAST is the highest performance single engine airplane they have ever flown yet they felt perfectly at home in it from the first moment.
