Today, I was connecting up a pushrod between the two throttle quadrants. At the rear quad', I used a clevis bolt/castle nut/pin, at the front quad' I do not have the room to do this, my only option seems to be a clevis pin/cotter pin. So, if I lost the cotter pin and the clevis fell out, I'd be in big trouble...my solution: use the clevis pin, but as a level of redundancy, also push on to the clevis pin one of those self retaining clip washers? (the ones you force on and do not come off).
Is this the right approach....thoughts?
