Hi Pitts drives,
Today while filling the top wing tank(Which we use for ferry flights only) we found some vertical movement within the wing itself. As we bought the aircraft from the previous owner, and have no prior experience with building a Pitts, would you please assist me in providing some additional information?
1) I assume the tank is mounted with straps?
2) How much movement if it all is normal for such mounting system?
3) If not normal, what would be the best method of resolving it? I assume to remove the wing, then cut top or bottom and rebuild... ?
Thanks for your time,
