This is copied from the Eagle forum.
The PO of my Eagle relocated the VHF antenna to the left forward belly, slightly aft and inboard of the gear. The plane has the original totalizer and harness, installed to the plans with the rear cockpit control (not the optional throttle quadrant button.)
When transmitting on certain frequencies in the lower end of the range (121-122 kHz) for more than a second or two, the totalizer resets. Very inconvenient.
Has anyone else ever run into this? Suggestions?
I am rerouting the antenna coax away from the wiring harness and removing and twisting the rear cockpit control wires.
Thanks.
Chris
