• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

This is N16CJ, a de-registered Tu-holer built in 1977 by Dean Jaros. That's the boss in the front pit. She fits perfectly at 4'9" and 90 lbs! The rudder and horizontal stabs came with it, as well as a motor mount. All the tubing is in good condition, just needs to be cleaned up. I found a set of wings in southern OR, but the asking price plus the transporting them was considerably more than building a new set.

The Playboy registration is up to date, and I'm awaiting to be declared the new owner by the FAA. N2959G was built by Stanley Fitz in 1963. It is a complete air frame, with a few repairs necessary and then covering. A converted Lycoming O-290-G and an unconverted -G came with the plane, so I have some "options on the engine.

But, I have to get the Starduster finished before starting on these!
