Ultimate Wings

I am planning to do a pre-buy inspection next week on a Pitts S1D fitted with Ultimate wings. Fortunately I will have a top Pitts pilot/mechanic with for the inspection. I'd like to back his expertise up with a little crowd-sourcing here. About these wings: there is precious little information on the internets about them. It seems that they are heavy and that they roll well. That's all I've been able to learn. Does any one have any experience or insight? Even hearsay will be helpful. Thanks!
