Veterans Over Flight

Ted and I two Marine Corps Veterans did the over flight in down town Scappoose next to our airport KSPB We hit the 11:00 time straight up on the nose! We were both flying Stardusters, and Ted is 81 yrs old

Starting Friday, civilians, veterans and their families can take part in free events to honor those who served

This Veterans Day there are plenty of observances and ceremonies to honor those who served and continue to serve in the U.S. armed forces.

Here's a rundown of events happening in Columbia County.

Scappoose High School's leadership program will host a free Veterans Day breakfast for vets and their families Friday morning.

What: Veterans Breakfast

When: Friday, Nov. 9, at 9 a.m.

Where: Scappoose High School cafeteria

Sunday, Nov. 11 Services and over flight 11 a.m.
