Hi there everyone,

I would like to enlist the help of the Biplane Forum to find a set of construction drawings for the Bucker Jungmeister. I have searched high and low for the drawings, and found that the best source on Bucker info, Joe Krybus, no longer sells plans.

I am looking to build an accurate replica of the machine. Any leads for the drawings would be greatly appreciated. You can PM me if you like to.

Thank you, BB

Welcome! There was some discussion in here recently about the Jungmeister. You might try the search function to find it.

Take a look at this Yahoo Group:

http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/cfair3/

The owner of the group finds copyright free plans and posts them in the group. It's the Spanish version of it. I've downloaded the plans but haven't looked at them yet.

I'm not sure how close they are to the original...

The cfair plans are of a plane that looks like a Jungmann, but it is not constructed like the real thing; I think its all wood. I would have loved to have some Krybus plans but they were expensive enough that letting them sit on a shelf without building would be too wasteful for my pocket. It is also a very complicated airplane; lots of fittings and material sizes. A lot more like building a WW1 replica. Personally it is my favorite of all biplanes. A restoration Jungmann might be more economical.

I think Joe Vastile has the Frank Price/Jim Swick Jungmeister plans now. I tried to buy a set of them from John Price a while back and he told me he sold all that stuff to Joe Vastile. Don't have any contact info other than maybe try the Bucker.info website.
