Mine were ACS lap belts. Gone.

Hi Jason,
After I finished my plane, a buddy was after me to add a redundant belt too. As a primary belt Ibought the ACSgeneral aviation belt with shoulder harness and a home made crotch strap to make it a 5-way. I couldn't afford anything like a Hooker. In use, I have found it to be pretty comfortable and I think ok. But I knew a second belt would add some extra security.

So I added a second lap belt. It is from the back seat of a 1980's or thereabouts Olds or maybe Caddy. $5 from the salvage yard. Genuine GM parts!

Wally,
I was thinking along your line but embarrassed admit it! My primary is only a 4 point, with no ratchet, so I may go ahead with the Acrobelt mentioned above.

My Eagle Acrobelt has the ratchet on the 5-point and we kept the original secondary lap belt.

A long time competitor friend has the ratchet on the secondary lap belt in his Giles, after seeing that, I really like that setup. When I replace the belts in the Wolf Pitts, that's the way I'm going.Edited by: smutny
