We're always talking about keeping down the weight of your plane. And I'm trying damn hard to keep it to a minimum.
Just doing a quick look at the weight of a smoke system... I see that one weighs, more or less,between 39 and 44 pounds (with a full tank 3.5 gallon tank.) This is just by looking up a system on the ACS site.
For the pilots out there with smoke systems, or had smoke systems...
How often do/did you use it?
For me,44 pounds is a lot of weight for something that isn't used that often.
