I've tacked welded the one side of the bungee truss. It's still in it's jig.
Obviously... it's a little warped from applying heat to it.
It has lifted about 1/8th of an inch from the jig, where the tube would connect into the longerons.
(Finally getting to the question.) Do I need to take the truss out of the jig and tack weld the other side, thus maybe straightening it, and then place back into the jig to cut the holes in it ? I'd think it would just warp a different way and not be able to place back in the jig.
I've assumed before and done things wrongwith that assumption.Throwing out the question for those that know.
