Just returned from Oshkosh, Stayed the dryer days, Thursday—Sunday. Didn’t see the Steen Skybolt but did speak with David Stone and he seems quite confident that the round springtail wheel assembly is the best choice.
Anyway my question is regarding the “trim tab plate “ that is welded to the trailing edge of the rudder. This will be covered with fabric and used to retain the trim tab once the plane is finished and rigged for flight. Screws will hold on this trim tab correct? What size of screw and what type of Anchor/bind nuts is attached to the plate welded to the rudder.
I have looked through the forum manual and some of the previous postings and could not find the info. Any pictures out there? Thanks Tim
