On my way back from the 2004 biplane fly-in at Bartlesville, Oklahoma, I took pictures of this airplane at the Double Eagle airport just north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The locals said it has had a very checkered life coupled with setting outside for some time. Several people have tried to buy the airplane but the owner apparently wants way more than what its worth. Please note the high performance exhaust system as well as the flat tires and rotted off cockpit cover. It is such a shame to see this sort of thing happen to any airplane and especially a Biplane.
