Hey guys. I haven't had the chance to post much on this forum but I have been hanging around since I bought my Skybolt plans. Now I have found a pretty good deal on a started Skybolt project and I was wondering what to look for before I bought it.

The fuselage has been welded already and the gear attached. Any suggestions on what to look for in terms of the work done? I looked as some of the welds. I haven't done any welding before but pictures of the fuselage show they look good, meaning the welds were smooth. Should I ask about the weight of the fuselage to see if it was over done and will be heavy? If so, what is heavy or doesn't it matter at this stage?
