I just got my new R/D plans from Steen. Wow, what an improvement over the earlier plans.

Anyway, I am in the process of deciding on gear. I have been planning on using a set from grove, but I spent some time looking at the plans for the hydraulic gear and they look like they would be fairly easy to build up.

My question is this, has anyone here built them, or know anyone who has? I would like to know how well they work and if they are worth the effort.
