Hi All

I've got a 200AC prop that i'm trying to make work with an Ultimate 10-200 cowling from york enterprises.

Problem I have is that the 200AC prop hub is extremely short and the Ultimate cowling requires a greater distance between where the cooling inlets are and where the spinner backplate needs to sit. The cowling also cannot sit further back as it is already at the point where the cowling profile is at the firewall profile before blending out to go over the cylinders.

After some research I've seen this cowling work with an MT 3 blade aerobatic prop which has a much longer hub. This indicates that there is no fundamental issue with the additional length of the hub with respect to increase crank loading etc.

So... does anybody have experience of running something like a 2 inch Saber constant speed prop hub spacer on an aerobatic aircraft.
