Hi all,

Concerning classics (because i know all you pitts guys will scream "weight"), what are some good choices for type of plywood for an instrument panel and passenger floorboard?

I'm making changes to the panel of my Waco and think i will abandon the old piece for a fresh setup. While i'm at it, the match stained passenger floorboard is probably easier to replace than restore. I'm planning to use the outside diameter of each as router patterns.

I'm looking for something durable, easily worked with drill and router, light as practical, and accepts stain. I'm curious what is called for in some of the older plans such as Corbens, Piets, etc.???

Thanks,
Dan
