Looking for a nice flying s1c or s1s or acrosport.

Would prefer something close to the west coast.

I found some nice leads towards east which would be really hard to ferry.

A ferry flight is just another adventure. Big difference between an Acro Sport and a Pitts. Buy what you really want. Good luck.

Indeed. Relatively large difference between these aircraft depending on engine/prop etc. including price...... Better decide exactly what you want and then figure how to get it home.

Just my opinion, most bang for buck is a S1C/150hp( if you fit. ) But even if only considering one type like a S1C you need to consider your own size/weight coupled with chute etc. Buying/finding the right airplane for YOU is not simple but acquiring the right one is worth a 2000 mile trip IMO.....

You may have already seen my plane on Barnstormers, but in case you haven't I've included a picture below. I'm only selling it because I'd like to pursue flying as a career and I can't afford to pay for the ratings while owning, operating, and maintaining the Pitts. I'm located on the east coast, but I would be willing to ferry the plane anywhere within the continental United States as long as fuel costs were covered. If you'd like to know more just shoot me a PM.

I owned a super acrosport one and loved it more range and comfort than a Pitts probably similar in performance as an S1C lands alot shorter

Thank you all for the help.

I have got some good leads actually so it was useful.

I think that based on current mission either a s1c or acrosport would probably suffice.
