• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Gents,

This might be a bit out of line for the forum, but we had a great time yesterday morning providing Zachary his first flight in a light aircraft. Zach is a young fellow who sits behind us (Tommy and I) in church. In meeting him we found out that he wants to be a pilot but had never flown in a light aircraft. Tommy arranged for Zach's dad to bring him out to the airport for his first flight. We provided a tour of the Toot hanger and Pitts hanger along with stories and Q/A while it rained. After the clouds departed and it cleared up. Joe Flood provided the first ride in his 1946 Commonwealth Ranger.

Well, I was going to provide a "teaser" pic, but the forum is being cranky this morning and won't let me. So you will just have to go to my Gallery to the "Zach's First Flight" album to check it out.
