I am working on restoring a Starduster that sat for 30 years. Posted a few pictures and questions back in the fall under "Starduster on Life Support".
This airplane had an inverted oil system on the firewall, but disconnected and from a document I have seems to be an Acra-Line, Kokomo IN unit circa 1975. It seems to be functionally the same (at a glance at least) as the Christen system. Has a vertical valve unit with three ports and a "can" with two ports and a connection to vent line.
I cant find any reference to this. Even the almighty google is stumped. Anyone here know anything about it? Can it be fixed?, worth the trouble? does it have some fundamental flaw that accounts for it being disconnected?
Thx
Chris
