I hate to post this on a biplane forum but I can't get on the stupid Aeronca forum (stupid password issue, act)

Aeronca 7AC - is it possible to somehow get the aileron quadrant in the wrong position? it looks impossible to me... there is a right and a left... no way to switch them or mount them upside down. I had 4 quadrants, 2 off an old 7AC wing and 2 off a Chief wing - but the wings are identical and interchangeable... I used two wings to make one good wing... sold the other two quadrants.

The problem - the right aileron does not get full travel - it does not hit the stops... the pushrod contacts the center pivot bolt and stops the movement...

Im at a loss at this point. Wing is covered, cables are not hanging up anywhere...

Any thoughts? anyone ever have this problem?
