Anti-splat oil cooler shutter?

Anybody used one? Thinking about putting one on my Hatz, my O-290 has no Vernatherm and I'm always adding or removing duct tape from the oil cooler to keep the temps under control.

I thought about making my own but for $109 it's not worth the trouble.
