    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Now that I have some actual air time with my new Garmin GTR200 I thought I would offer a pilot report. As a radio, the tower reports loud and clear, it seems to receive nice and clear. It is easy to operate, standard flip-flop arrangement and a very easy to use memory to access commonly used or recently used frequencies. Holding down the flip-flop button tunes up 121.5

The intercom in it also works really well. The Eagle is not as noisy as say a M12, but pretty noisy nonetheless and the intercom works great. You can adjust the squelch, but I have just put it on automatic and it works great. I like it better than the expensive NAT intercom that was in the plane before. I got it from Stein Air, they made a harness for me, so the installation was very easy.
