    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Renumbered after Andy owned it. I flew it today for the first time. 2.1 hours total. Got 25 or so landings in.

So thankful for the training with Budd. He told me it would be a different world and it was.

I still cannot wrap my head around how such a simple airplane performs so well. Feels like the takeoff roll is 10 feet. Climbs over 2200 feet per minute easy. Everything is just so good.

I don’t think I will ever be a pilot who can out fly this tiny little fixed pitch pitts.
