    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I am lucky enough to have some very cool friends. About a month ago I was able to post some photos of a P 51 H, that I got a ride in it was Extremely Cool.

Well last week, I was able to ride along in a different P51 D on a maintenance flight, (we had to warm up the 16 Gallons of oil before an oil change). also Extremely cool. Both land about 120 MPH, you really can't see anything. I really don't know how 19-year-old kids got into these aircraft and went into battle. Any way a few more photos.
