I will be finishing up my Pitts 12 project this spring and would like to know how the 12 compares to an S1 or S2B. Several have been sold after a short ownership and I wondered why.
I have owned a light S1D (150hp) and an S1S (180hp fixed pitch) and both were great flying airplanes. I always wanted a Model 12 and traded a yak 55 and S1S for the 12 project I have now. For those who have flown the 12 and other Pitts model, how does the 12 compare and what are the negatives of the 12.
