On Barnstormers as "1979 Pitts S-2A" there is an example of a Pitts S-2A owned by a partnership that paid too much for an airplane with original fabric (43 years old!), has had the maintenance done by a shop that does not know Pitts and now wants out. Asking $60,000 on Barnstormers, down from $75.000. If they will take $40,000 and the new owner spends something like $40K for new fabric, it could be a nice airplane. Just south of Boston, MA. I became acquainted with some of the owners as their parachute rigger after they purchased the ship.

Best of luck,

Wes
