For sale is my Pitts S2E project. I purchased it last year and haven't made any progress; due to work commitments and other projects I don't think I'll get started on it anytime soon. This would be a great project for someone. It's a factory welded fuselage and from what I can tell no damage history. My asking price is $20,250. This price includes engine (Lycoming O-360-A4A bendix fuel injection), airframe, prop, new ply leading edges, new Raven canopy, Raven wing drawings, covering materials and supplies. The wings have symmetrical ailerons.
The airplane was flying four years ago. I purchased this project from the guy who bought my S2S. His mechanic refused to sign-off the condition inspection because he noticed some staining on a lower wing. I assume it was some water stain and have attached a pic of what I found. The compression rib has disbonded locally in that area. The previous owner uncovered the wings and begun the process of restoration, but lost momentum and the aircraft has been sitting. I acquired it in its current state.
The airplane is located in Wichita, KS.
