    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Ok. I rigged my Special last Fall and welded up the "N" struts in place. Removed them and painted them. Discovered that the port side is 3/8" Taller. So I have set it all back up, now that is cool enough, finally. The following measurements are ALL WITHIN 3/32":Tailpost to upper TE tip. Tailpost to lower TE tip. Landing wires. Flying wires. UPPER WINGS 0deg dihedral & AOA. LOWER WINGS 3deg dihedral & 3deg AOA. WHAT AM I MISSING? The only measurement that is not correct is the distance between the up and lower "N" strut attach points. Majorly confounded in Olivet, MI.
