When I bought all material 10years ago I din’t check the measures. Now I install the cabane I noticed that the wire was not measured to pin center but wire length. Result it’s about half an inch too long even in almost maximal position.
I will try to do another shorter fitting but I just wanted to have your opinion on this option : instead of using a fitting, attaching the clevis fork directly on the bolt.
The bolt being 0.31 and the clevis hole 0.375 this leaves 0.028 thickness for the bushing. I guess it’s not ideal as the pressure is not spread on all the bolt. What do you think ?
