Trying to decide if I need to build a Parakeet

I acquired a set of Parakeet plans and some bits at the OSH in the FlyMarket last year. Got the N3N finished, wrapping up the Champ and a couple glider projects I've had sitting around for awhile, finished a couple of motorcycles and the Midget Mustang is not far off, so I'm considering my next project. Also have this injected C-85 taking up space in the shop.

Loved the looks of it, seems easy enough to build, folks say it flies as nice as it looks. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Parakeet activity on this site and the Parakeet page doesn't look like it's been very active for a long while.

Anyone have any constructive input? Thought about a Skyote but that looks much more involved to build.
