Greetings of the season to everyone.
I can get one of these engines at a reasonabe price and just wondered if anyone with greater knowledge of them could comment on its suitability. Its done 2400 hours already so its going to need freshening up. I've looked thru the archives and noted that certainly the E sereies engine probably wouldn't be the wisest choice, but how would this B3B cope? I'm wondering along the lines of fitting inverted systems and a suitable fixed pitch prop fitment. I can't find enough info in the acrosport newsletter archive or biplane forum site to make up my mind; I'm going to have to buy the engine blind as it is about 800 miles away from me!
Thanks
Nick
