Anyone got thoughts on this?
On start up the oil pressure goes straight to 95psi at 1200 RPM.
After 5 mins of taxi with the oil temp around 140F, oil pressure has reduced a bit but when running up at 1800RPM the pressure goes back up to 100psi (red line).
Another 5 mins of taxi and the idle pressure has dropped a bit more but on take off the pressure is back at 100psi. After 10 mins of flying with the oil temp up to 180-200 the pressure remains around 85psi upright and 65psi inverted at full power.
Is this normal? I've only recently started paying close attention so I'm not sure if this is typical for these engines or if it might be something going on with the oil pressure relief valve.
